Ate9 Dance Company offers JOY. a humorous and poignant reflection on human habits and addictions. Live music is composed and performed by Isaiah Gage. Their community engagement and educational offerings are in demand and Artistic Director Danielle Agami, after years of being asked, is starting to putting work on other companies as well.

AXIS Dance Company is falling into the swing of the new year with a recent visit to Rowan University and next to Cincinnati Ballet's Bold Moves Festival. They launched a new website, and the digital premiere of their dance film Flutter (linked here) with Lincoln Center for the Arts.

Backhausdance launches its 20th anniversary season on November 19, 2022, at the Old Town Temecula Community Theatre. Last-minute block dates are available in the west. Plus, Jennifer Backhaus, Artistic Director, is now an Artist in residence there as well! Congrats Jenny!

Mixed eMotion Theatrix completed a beautiful performance at La Mirada Theatre of “So Now You Know,” their community engagement storytelling/movement production. They are now in rehearsals for a Spring tour of “Gatsby Redux” at a series of vintage mansions including the famed Greystone Mansion in Beverly Hills, CA, in April, then back to The Muck in Fullerton, CA, and to Choregus in Tulsa, OK in June.

Pacifico Dance Company is celebrating their 30th anniversary this year! They are also now offering a Nutcracker if you want an alternative for your December '22 or '23 programming. Pacifico is available with live or recorded music, and their educational residencies are stellar.

Ririe-Woodbury Dance Company will soon premiere Bodystorm, a commissioned work by Culture Mill / Clint Lutes, Murielle Elizéon & Tommy Noonan. This new work integrates an outreach component through which company members will embody and perform original choreographic material developed in collaboration with people living with Parkinson’s Disease. There's a block forming in the western states in the spring of 2023. Current performances are set in Wyoming and Southern California. Their 60th Anniversary tour dates begin are available in 23/24.

State Street Ballet presented Sleeping Beauty at The Granada Theatre in Santa Barbara, CA - March 5 & 6! A modern take on a favorite fairytale, this production is perfect for audiences of all ages and could be ideal for touring. They're also forming a block in the west for 2023 performances of The Nutcracker., but November 2022 dates are still available.

ADAAWE was thrilled to play the ASU Gammage stage as part of their Performances for Students program and is looking forward to an uplifting full-band concert as part of the Ventura Music Festival on July 27. They are available for fill-in dates in late July 2022 and bookings in the southeast and western regions in fall 2022 and spring 2023.

Artes Latinas Ensembles: Calle Sur’s newest project, “Cancún,” which combines Latin folk with jazz piano, is available at a discount during Hispanic Heritage Month. Song samples here. Americas3 is available at a discount during Women’s History Month 2023.

Blues is a Woman returns to the stage! Pamela Rose and her acclaimed show enjoyed performances in Washington during February. You can see Pamela Rose again soon on July 21 at SF JAZZ with guitarist Mimi Fox and the Acoustic Blues Project. Also, Pamela has a new lecture on the history of women in Blues and Jazz that can also expand into a series.

El Vez is available for block booking with his Day of the Dead in October/November, Christmas in NOvember/December, and Cinco de Mayo, shows. There's a block forming in April 2023 in the Midwest as well. He is actually touring his Christmas show this summer, in July. Yep!

Joselyn & Don performs at the Grand Annex Music Hall on April 1 with Americana star, Chris Pierce, and will be releasing new music from their EP, Seeds & Bones, accompanied by a book of photography, poetry, and lyrics. They are available for fill-ins in California in November 2022, Montana from June 15-July 15, 2022, and in the west in spring of 2023.

Perla Batalla tours Europe this spring with dates in eight countries. Blocks are available in the west September through November of 2022 and March of 2023. September 21 (Leonard Cohen's Birthday) and November 5 Leonard Cohen's passing) are available in 2022 and 2023 for Perla Batalla in the House of Cohen.

Val Vigoda and her collaborator Ryan O'Connell appeared on the latest episode of the "Live from the Lounge" podcast with Keythe Farley—with their take on one of the greatest songs ever written about moving on, George Harrison's "This Too Shall Pass." Her Peak Aliveness keynotes are available as well as her uplifting concerts and educational offerings.

Yuval Ron Ensemble is touring Soul of Spain and Buddha’s Awakening concert programs to rave reviews. Soul of Spain is Flamenco meets Hebrew showcasing the Spanish Music and dance of Andalusia, Spain. Seven Pillars of Wisdom and Buddha’s Awakening highlight the sacred music of the Middle East and India with the inspiring life story of Siddhartha who became the Buddha, the awakened one.

An Evening With George Chakiris has fill-in dates available. With Steven Spielberg's new West Side Story out, it's the perfect time to revisit the original with cast member George Chakiris!
